Elon Musk has welcomed Donald Trump back to Twitter.
It is not appreciated by the rock star Jack White.
"You are trying to help a fascist get a platform so that you will eventually get tax breaks," he writes to the multi-billionaire.
Donald Trump, 76, was suspended from Twitter after the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021 - but now he is back in the heat.
On Sunday, multibillionaire Elon Musk, 51, also Twitter's new owner, conducted a vote on the platform to lift the former president's suspension.
And 51.8 percent voted in favor.
"The people have spoken. Donald Trump will be reinstated,” he wrote.
Hard attack on Instagram
But the initiative has not been appreciated by everyone. White Stripes profiler Jack White, 47, goes on a hard attack against Musk in a post on Instagram.
“Absolutely disgusting, Elon. This is officially a piece of crap,” he writes.
"You intend to give a platform to known liars and then wash your hands like Pontius Pilate without taking responsibility".

The rock star writes that Trump was suspended because he "called for violence several times"
"People died and were injured as a result of his lies and his ego."
"Trying to help a fascist"
He further claims that the decision has nothing to do with freedom of expression.
"This is straight up you trying to help a fascist get a platform for you to eventually get tax breaks," writes White.
"I believe in freedom of speech, but I would not, for example, let the Ku Klux Klan hold a meeting on our record company's stage.
It is one of the platforms that we control and have something to say about”.
In the aftermath of the Twitter suspension, Donald Trump started his own social media platform, Truth Social, where he has remained ever since.
So far, he hasn't posted a tweet since his account was locked, but it remains to be seen if he can resist the temptation to return.
