The video clip shows how the police push and drag the activists across the floor of a port building in the city of Ashdod. Ben-Gvir laughs and holds up an Israeli flag while the national anthem is played.

- Do not be disturbed by their screams, he tells the police, according to Haaretz.

Italy, France, Spain and Ireland have summoned Israel's ambassadors to protest the action, according to AFP.

US: "Ben-Gvir has betrayed his country's dignity"

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee joins the long line of diplomats criticizing the treatment of captured convoy activists, the Times of Israel reports.

"The convoy was a stupid move, but Ben-Gvir has betrayed his country's dignity," he writes on X.

Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has released a video in which he mocks the arrested activists who were forced to kneel and tied behind their backs with cable ties. Foreign ministers from more than a dozen countries whose citizens are among the activists have summoned Israel's ambassadors in protest.

Huckabee emphasizes in his post that "all" high-ranking Israeli representatives from the prime minister and president to the foreign minister and Israel's ambassador to the United States have reacted with outrage and condemnation to Ben-Gvir's "heinous actions."
