Mosley died two and a half hours after leaving his wife

Health profiler Michael Mosley died of natural causes around 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the autopsy. The BBC writes.

It was about two and a half hours after he said goodbye to his wife Clare Mosley on a beach on the island of Symi. Mosley planned to hike back to their vacation home in a neighboring town.

According to the autopsy report, there are no external injuries that could have caused Mosley's death.

For an unknown reason, Mosley did not go towards the resort where they lived, but ended up at a rugged mountain area by the beach of Agia Marina where he was later found dead next to a fence.

Film shows: Mosley takes 30 minutes to cover 30 meters

A surveillance video from the bar in Agia Marina is said to show health profiler Michael Mosley's last moments in life, the BBC reports. In the footage, Mosley is seen trying to make his way down the steep, rocky slope before disappearing from view.

The BBC has received verbal information about the content of the surveillance footage but has not seen the material itself. It will show Mosley near the spot where he was later found dead, by a fence that surrounded the beach and bar at Agia Marina.

According to Sky News, the film shows that it takes Mosley about 30 minutes to cover a distance of about 30 meters, which in the terrain would otherwise have taken a couple of minutes.
