Sources: Kennedy and Trump in new talks - may get role in administration
Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy have had several meetings in the past month where they talked about how Kennedy could become part of the former president's administration if Trump wins the election. This is reported by ABC, which has spoken to several sources with good transparency.
Two sources state that the parties are said to have talked about Kennedy, who is an independent presidential candidate, possibly getting a role in the Department of Health and Medical Services.
Trump has previously tried to get Kennedy to drop his candidacy and endorse him instead. Among other things, the two candidates talked to each other after the assassination attempt on Trump.

Johnson urges party: Avoid racist attacks on Kamala Harris
Some Republicans have attacked Kamala Harris because of her ethnicity after she took over Joe Biden's campaign, US media write.
"A lot of Democrats feel they have to stick with her because of her ethnicity," House Representative Glenn Grothman told CBS on Sunday.
In an interview with CNN on Monday, member Tim Burchett was on the same line.
Now Republican Speaker Mike Johnson is urging party members to avoid racist and sexist attacks on Kamala Harris.
- Her ethnicity or gender has nothing to do with this at all, he said during a party meeting on Tuesday, writes the AP news agency.

Joe Biden must deal with new everyday life as president: "He must be disappointed"
When Joe Biden has now returned to the White House after his quarantine, a completely new everyday life awaits, reports the New York Times. The newspaper points out that the last months are usually "the most frustrating period" for a president.
The focus falls on possible successors, Congress spends more time on campaigns than on legislation, and world leaders develop strategies for how cooperation with the successor should look like.
- He must be disappointed, says presidential expert Barbara A Perry to the newspaper.
Historian Julian Zelizer of Princeton University believes that critics, both in the United States and in other countries, may have a changed attitude toward a departing president.

The big challenge for Harris - the wave master states: "It can be positive"
Kamala Harris, who looks set to become the Democratic presidential candidate, has a big challenge ahead of her when it comes to winning the important swing states. This is reported by Axios.
The news site highlights above all the three states that make up the so-called "blue wall", the traditionally Democratic states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, which Trump and JD Vance will focus a lot on in the election campaign.
Larry Ceisler, an expert in strategic communication, tells Axios that Kamala Harris will be able to attract votes and support from, among other things, younger voters and African-American voters.
- It can be positive, he says.
Other voter groups that Axios points out as important for Harris are Hispanic men and older people, from whom Joe Biden has managed to gather a lot of support.
