Trump: US to Decide When Iran War is Over

It is the US that decides when the war against Iran is over, Donald Trump tells the Times of Israel. But the US president will hold talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before making such a decision.

The newspaper asked the US president if Netanyahu has any say in when it comes to ending the war.

– It is mutual, to a certain extent. We have talked. I will make a decision at the right time, but everything will be taken into account, says Trump, emphasizing that he has the final say.

Ballistic missile from Iran shot down over Turkey

NATO has shot down an Iranian ballistic missile that was traveling in Turkish airspace, the Turkish Defense Ministry said on Monday.

It is the second time in a few days that an Iranian missile has been shot down over the NATO country, and Turkey says it will take necessary measures after the incident, Reuters reports.

Parts of the shot down missile fell over eastern Turkey, but no one is reported to have been injured, the ministry says.

Iran has also attacked Israel on Monday. One person was killed and two were injured in a missile attack on the central parts of the country, writes Haaretz.

Israel has responded by launching extensive attacks on the Iranian regime, including in the capital Tehran, according to the military.
