Danish party wants to form blue minority government
Troels Lund Poulsen (V) wants to form a blue minority government. This is stated by the party leader for Venstre eight weeks after the elections were held in Denmark.
– I believe that the best opportunity to form a government is one consisting of Venstre, Liberal Alliance and Conservative, he says.
The three parties collect a total of 46 seats, which means that 44 are missing to achieve a majority in the Folketing. In order to form a government, a majority is required not to vote against.
According to Danmarks Radio, Lund Poulsen has not yet spoken about the proposal with the leader of the wave Lars Løkke Rasmussen (M).
Troels Lund Poulsen has been tasked with probing a new government for a little more than a week. He took over the assignment from incumbent Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S).
