Trump’s USA US Midterm Elections

Polls: Democrats have a chance to win the Senate

Democratic Senate candidates are leading—or running neck and neck with—their Republican opponents in five states that typically vote Republican. This is according to new polling by the *New York Times* and Siena College.

The states in question are Texas, Alaska, Ohio, Iowa, and Kansas. Dissatisfaction with Trump, the Iran issue, fuel prices, and the cost of living is reshaping the political landscape in these states.

To secure a Senate majority, the Democrats need to pick up four additional seats and hold onto the ones they currently occupy in three hotly contested battleground states.

Meanwhile, Republican anxiety regarding the House of Representatives is mounting as even their own internal polls show Trump’s popularity slipping. Many have now lost hope of retaining the majority, according to a source speaking to CNN.

Taxpayers Foot the Bill for Trump’s Campaign Ads

The videos feature messages such as "God created Trump," clips of US military operations in Venezuela and Iran, and footage of the UFC match Trump hosted in the White House garden.

Both Democrats and Republicans have questioned the use of taxpayer funds for these videos, but the administration maintains that they constitute public information.

According to sources, Trump himself helped select the footage for the ad, which was created by the White House's own video editors.
