New UN report: Israel has committed acts of genocide

Israel has committed acts of genocide in Gaza by destroying health facilities for women and using sexual violence as a strategy of war. This is what independent UN experts have concluded in a new report according to Reuters.

According to the experts, Israel has damaged the reproductive capacity of the Palestinian population by actively preventing Palestinian births, which is classified as an act of genocide under the UN charter.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly rejects the report's conclusions, which he calls "absurd".

"Instead of focusing on the war crimes and crimes against humanity of the Hamas terror group [...] the UN is choosing instead to once again attack the state of Israel with false accusations," he said in a statement.

Jewish pro-Palestinian protest takes over Trump Tower – 65 arrested by police

Hundreds of Jewish pro-Palestinian protesters have stormed Donald Trump's Trump Tower hotel in New York, AFP reports. At least 65 are said to have been arrested by police.

The protesters from the group The Jewish Voice for Peace want to show their support for the Palestinian cause and for student Mahmoud Khalil, who has organized several protests at Columbia University. He was arrested on Monday by the federal immigration agency ICE, which has been ordered to revoke his permanent resident status. He has not been charged with any crime, AP reports.

"Jews stop arming Israel" and "Let Mahmoud come home" are written on the protesters' red T-shirts, according to the AP.

A judge later ruled that he would be allowed to remain in the United States while the court appeals the arrest and the planned deportation.
