US Secretary of War: “Our Most Intense Day of Attacks – Again”

Updated 14.50 | Published 14.41

US attacks on Tuesday will be the most intense yet – again.

– On the tenth day of Epic fury, we are winning, says Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Tuesday morning began with attacks throughout the Gulf region from Israel, the US and Iran. But that was just the beginning of several intense attacks, according to the US Secretary of War.

Pete Hegseth says today’s attacks in Iran will be the most intense yet.

– Most fighter jets, most bombers and most battles. At the same time, Iran now has the lowest number of missiles left that they can fire. Their military is systematically degraded, he says at a press conference.

“Will never allow nuclear weapons”

He says the US will never stop fighting – unless it has won.

– We are crushing the enemy and we will not give up until the enemy is defeated. But we are doing it on our own schedule.

The first targets have been Iran’s missile depots, missile launchers and military bases. Then the US has set its sights on the country’s naval defences. Ultimately, it is about preventing them from having nuclear weapons – forever.

– Their pursuit of nuclear weapons will never be allowed by Trump, not now, not ever, says Hegseth.
