Reports of new attacks – Rubio: No decision made
The United States could launch attacks against Iran as early as Wednesday, November 4—the day after the U.S. midterm elections—according to sources who have spoken with MS Now.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio states that no decision has been made on the matter.
The reports regarding potential strikes come from three anonymous, high-ranking officials from states in the Gulf region, who were informed by the U.S. that they should prepare for a new wave of attacks.
According to Rubio, President Donald Trump has not yet decided whether Washington should launch further attacks.
"We can achieve military objectives if we choose that path. He (Trump) has not made a decision. I have nothing to announce to you on that point today," Rubio told reporters at a press briefing held in conjunction with the G20 meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday.
