Sonexay Siphandone, the Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, called Srettha Thavisin, the Prime Minister of Thailand, to congratulate him on becoming Prime Minister and to express his admiration for his experience, particularly in the field of economics. He expected the two countries to continue getting along and cooperating, and he invited Srettha to visit Laos as soon as he could.
