"Green lockdown" in Lahore - schools are closed all week
The
air quality in Pakistan's second largest city, Lahore, is so bad that
schools are now closed for the rest of the week, AP reports.
Since the air began to worsen a month ago, thousands of people, especially children and the elderly, have fallen ill.
The
school closures are part of a "green lockdown". Other measures are that
half of the city's employees must work from home and motorized taxi
vehicles are restricted.
AP writes that Lahore was once a green
city, but that rapid urbanization has meant that today there is little
space for parks and trees.

Tesla's future
Think tank: Tesla already has at least three collective bargaining agreements
Tesla
has claimed that it "does not have a collective agreement anywhere in
the world". But that is not true, reports the union's newspaper
Arbetsvärlden.
The newspaper refers to the think tank Arena Idé's
head of investigation German Bender, who should have been able to show
that Tesla previously signed at least three collective agreements in
France.
For over a year now, Tesla has been in conflict with the
Swedish trade union IF Metall, which is on strike and demanding a
collective agreement for the company's employees in Sweden.
