Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise's husband, the shaman Durek Verrett, 49, admits that he had sex with clients, writes Se og Hør.
The Norwegian newspaper has gained access to audio recordings where Durek Verrett talks about various sexual acts with several of his clients.
- It was a mistake, and I am aware of the mistake, says the shaman in the audio recording.
Last week, Se og Hør reported that a Swedish man reported Durek Verrett to the police for sexual abuse and assault during a session.
Se og Hør's new revelation comes after a long interview with a former friend of the shaman, Eric Nies, 53. He is a former reality star who later became a success as a VJ on MTV's dance show "The Grind" in the 90s.
Two acquaintances contacted Eric Nies and told about unpleasant, sexual experiences during sessions with the shaman. On several audio recordings between Eric Nies and Durek Verrett, the shaman admits the sexual contacts.
- I don't meet every client and behave sexually towards them, and I have no problem saying that I have crossed the line and done wrong. I am a human being, says the shaman in a message.
The audio recordings are voice messages that the two former friends sent to each other in 2020. The reason Eric Nies is releasing them now is that he can no longer bear the secret and that he hopes more victims, especially in the spiritual realm, will have the courage to come forward with their stories.
