Norway's Crown Prince Haakon has visited Marius Borg Høiby in custody.

According to the newspaper, it is the first time ever in Norway's history that a member of the royal family has visited another member of the royal family in a prison or detention center.

Throughout the process, the Crown Prince's family has been clear that this is a very demanding time - both privately and humanly.

The prison visit can be interpreted as an expression of this, writes Se og Hør.

On Monday, the day before the trial and the day after he was arrested on suspicion of new crimes, the entire family visited the “bonus prince” in the hospital where he was examined.

The 29-year-old will be held in custody throughout the trial.
