IS claims responsibility for Friday prayer blast

The terrorist group IS has claimed responsibility for the deadly explosion in Pakistan's capital Islamabad. The attack targeted a Shiite mosque during Friday prayers.

At least 31 people are reported to have been killed and 169 injured.

According to the SITE intelligence group, which monitors online extremism, IS said the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
