JD Vance Travels to Pakistan for Peace Talks

US Vice President JD Vance, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner are traveling to Pakistan on Saturday for peace talks. This was stated by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt at a press conference, writes the New York Times.

She also says that they are working on a modified peace plan that is similar to the list of 15 points that the US sent to Iran a couple of weeks ago.

At the same time, she calls Iran's counter-demands with ten points "fundamentally frivolous". 

Netanyahu: The ceasefire does not mean the end of the war

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says in a video message that the ceasefire does not mean the end of the war and that Israel has more goals to achieve, Reuters reports.

- We will achieve them, either through an agreement or by resuming fighting, he says according to the Times of Israel.

He also says that Hezbollah and thus Lebanon are not included in the ceasefire that was concluded between the US and Iran, referring to the attacks on Lebanon on Wednesday.

Expert: Sees the same rapid aging as Biden

Talking about wiping out civilizations, unleashing hell and writing "fuck" on social media also stands out for Donald Trump, says US expert Andreas Utterström to DN.

This is partly because he will not run for re-election and has nothing to lose, and partly because he is starting to get old, believes Utterström.

– I think I see the same rapid, worrying aging in him that you could see in Biden.

What is going on now is a war for the truth, says US expert and political science professor emeritus Jan Hallenberg to Aftonbladet.

– Trump has said that it is a hundred percent victory and that they have achieved everything they have strived for, which is of course a blatant lie.

If anyone has won a half victory, it is Iran, as the regime and the Revolutionary Guard remain in power, according to Hallenbrrg.
