Iran accuses US of violating peace agreement after attacks

Iran accuses US of violating peace agreement, after both sides shelled each other over the weekend, AFP reports.

During the night of Friday, Iran shelled a commercial ship under the Singaporean flag in the Strait of Hormuz. The US called the shelling a "clear violation of the ceasefire" and responded by attacking Iran.

During the day, Iran fired at Bahrain and another ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard says they attacked American targets in the area and that the response will be broadened

Settlers and military storm mosque in Hebron

The Israeli military has together with settlers stormed a mosque in Hebron in the occupied West Bank, writes Haaretz.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, mosque-goers were forced out shortly before morning prayers and settlers then hung Israeli flags and played Hebrew music inside the mosque.

The Palestinian Authority for Religious Affairs condemned the incident, which it described as a “serious escalation.”
