Saab invests 120 million in French AI company

Defense giant Saab is investing the equivalent of 120 million kronor to buy 10 percent of the French AI defense company Comand AI, the company writes in a press release.

Through the investment, Saab will gain access to Comand AI's AI-based planning solutions and technical expertise, which will strengthen the development of the company's command and control system, it says.

Medivir replenishes funds for pharmaceutical projects


After the stock exchange closed, the pharmaceutical company Medivir announced plans for a directed new share issue of around 130 million kronor. This is stated in a press release.

The money will primarily be used to develop a new use for the drug candidate MIV-711 against Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease, a rare disease in which the hip joint breaks down in children.

Industrial magnate and billionaire Carl Bennet is the second largest owner with 16.63 percent of the shares.

Electrolux billion-dollar issue oversubscribed

Electrolux's new issue of just over 9 billion kronor, which the company announced in April, was oversubscribed. This is evident from a preliminary outcome, the company writes in a press release.

The issue was subscribed to at almost 138 percent and the company will thus receive around 9.1 billion kronor after costs.
