Several dead in Israeli attacks on Lebanon

Israel confirms attacks on southern Lebanon.

Several people were killed in the drone attacks.

The state-run Lebanese news agency NNA reported on Tuesday that at least four people were killed in attacks on the southern parts of the country, especially the Nabatieh region. In a drone attack, two vehicles were hit in the town of Mayfadoun.

In another raid, vehicles were attacked near the town of Shukin.

The Israeli military said it had located and attacked “a suspicious vehicle in an area where Israeli soldiers were operating”.

Israel also said it had stopped and shot down projectiles fired by the Iran-backed Shiite Hezbollah militia. Israel has also destroyed a ramp from which projectiles were fired.

The attacks and shelling continue despite the ceasefire.
