Ukraine's attacks on targets in Russia doubled in June.

This was stated by the country's Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram.

"By destroying warehouses, transport and supply routes, the enemy's ability to supply its units with supplies is reduced," he writes.

Ukraine's medium and long-range attacks on Russia have increased sharply recently.

"The number of targets hit at a distance of more than 50 kilometers from the front line has almost doubled," writes the country's Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov in a post on Telegram.

In recent months, it has intensified its so-called medium-range campaign with the aim of disrupting Russian logistics.

Trump and Putin spoke on the phone

Particular focus has been on Crimea, where the attacks, according to Ukraine, have caused a fuel crisis.

US President Donald Trump had a nearly 90-minute phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the weekend.

Trump is said to have offered to help find a solution to the war in Ukraine. This was stated by Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov in statements published early on Sunday, according to the Reuters news agency.

– The American president once again confirmed his willingness to work for a quick end to the fighting and find solutions to overcome the crisis, Ushakov said of Trump's conversation with the Russian president.

Ushakov described the conversation as “businesslike and quite constructive” and said Russia seeks “a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict, with due regard for Russia’s fundamental position.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he had also spoken to Trump.

200,000 enemy targets

According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, the Ukrainian military also set several new records in June, including the number of attacks on Russian artillery, Russian vehicles and motorcycles, and the number of drones and helicopters shot down.

In total, more than 200,000 enemy targets were destroyed during the month, he said.

Fedorov also stated that the Ukrainian military killed or seriously injured nearly 28,000 Russian soldiers in June.
