Leagues in Los Angeles rob in groups and raid department stores
Leagues consisting of about 50 people are wreaking havoc in North Los Angeles, US media reports.
On Tuesday, a group attacked an Yves Saint Laurent store in the Glendale neighborhood. This by rushing into the store, overpowering the staff and running away with goods worth a total of three million kroner.
On Saturday, a similar robbery took place, this time at the Nordstrom mall five miles due west from the first crime scene. According to the police, the group neutralized the department store's two guards with pepper spray before the participants snatched goods worth the equivalent of one million kroner.
No arrests have been made, but the authorities have issued a reward of the equivalent of half a million for anyone who can come up with tips about who is involved. The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, has also spoken out about the robberies, calling them "completely unacceptable".
- Everyone who was involved in these actions, and similar things in the environment, must be held accountable, she says.

Zuckerberg: If Musk is serious, he can reach me
There is a lot of talk and a little workshop on Elon Musk regarding the round in the martial arts ring he says he wants to join Mark Zuckerberg - at least if Zuckerberg himself is to be believed.
“If Elon is ever serious about nailing down a date for a public event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, it's time to move on," writes the Facebook founder on Threads, according to Bloomberg.
For months, Musk has hyped the intended round on his platform X, formerly Twitter. He has also been in contact with Italy's Minister of Culture about holding the event there, and donating the proceeds to Italian children's hospitals.
Zuckerberg has previously said that he "was ready since the day Elon challenged me", according to the BBC.
