Iranian hackers have taken revenge on Kash Patel – again.

Now they are releasing the FBI chief’s private photos.

– He will find his name on the list of successfully hacked victims, the group says in a statement.

The US Department of Justice confirmed on Friday afternoon that Kash Patel's email was hacked and that sensitive information was obtained.

Shortly afterwards, the Handala hack team published a series of photos of Patel. Among other things, when he is standing by cars with Cuban license plates and smoking a cigar. But they have also published photos of his alleged CV.

The material ranges from 2010 to 2019.

Handala hack team, which the US says is an Iran-backed hacker organization, claims the breach is a response to the FBI's operation last week in which the hacker group's domains were seized.

CNN writes that intelligence sources have long warned that hackers with ties to Tehran could avenge the bombings in Iran.

And this is not the first time that Iran-backed hackers have gotten hold of Patel's private information.

In late 2024, just a few weeks after being appointed director of the FBI, hackers got hold of Patel's private communications.

Handala hack team, som enligt USA är en Iranstödd hackerorganisation, hävdar att intrånget är ett svar på FBI:s Iran.o
