US President Donald Trump rules out a nuclear strike against Iran.

– We have destroyed 75 percent of the targets (in Iran), said Trump.

The president received representatives of the press in Washington DC in connection with the planned meeting on the Lebanon war.

Trump focused his comments on the situation in Iran, where he said he did not intend to attack Iran with nuclear weapons, and that he was in no hurry to find a solution to the conflict.

Earlier in the day, Trump stated that he “has all the time in the world, but the clock is ticking”. He also announced that the US aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush had arrived in the Middle East.

The developments came after a day of relative calm in Iran. Explosions were heard in Tehran, but according to reports, they were air defenses being fired.
