France is expelling pro-Moscow TV journalist Xenia Fedorova after accusations that she is spreading Russian propaganda, the French Interior Ministry announced.

The controversial journalist Xenia Fedorova was previously the channel director of the French section of the Russian state propaganda channel RT (formerly Russia Today).

The channel was closed by French authorities in 2023, a year after Russia began its offensive war against Ukraine.

French experts on disinformation and propaganda have warned of her influence and accused her of spreading disinformation in France, which is holding presidential elections next year.
