Analysis: This is why Poland is sending missiles

Ukraine: Russian cruise missile crossed the Polish border

A Russian Kh-101 cruise missile crossed the Polish border last night. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha on X.

“This is another clear example of the urgency of strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses now and that it serves as a guarantee for the protection of the entire Euro-Atlantic community,” he wrote.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote, according to Reuters, that everything indicates that the missile came from Russia, but that it is not yet “100 percent confirmed” what type it is.

Polish military analyst Jaroslaw Wolski believes that everything indicates that it is precisely a Kh-101.

“The chance that it was something else is basically zero,” he writes on X.
