Report: Anti-Semitism on the rise – worst in 30 years

2025 was the deadliest year in more than 30 years in terms of anti-Semitic attacks, according to a report published on Wednesday.

20 people were killed in anti-Semitic attacks in 2025 – the deadliest year since the bombing of the Jewish Amia center in Buenos Aires in 1994.

The report comes from the organization J7, which brings together leading Jewish organizations in seven countries and works to develop strategies against anti-Semitism in politics, security, extremism and education.

The report has documented more than 23,000 anti-Semitic incidents in 2025 in Argentina, Australia, France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States. Together, the countries comprise more than 90 percent of the Jewish diaspora.

“Anti-Semitism is no longer a temporary wave, but a persistent global crisis that affects Jewish communities in all seven countries,” said William C. Daroff, CEO of COP, a coalition of Jewish organizations in the United States, in a press release.
