Iran threatens to prolong the war until Trump steps down
The Revolutionary Guard in Iran is threatening to try to drag out the war for the rest of Donald Trump's term in office. In a statement, one of the Revolutionary Guard's advisers says that the United States is weaker than expected, and that Iran has learned important lessons.

He further claims that the White House lacks a strategy and that it is currently to Iran's advantage. He also suggests that Iran has a plan for what happens if the missile stockpile runs out, and that the United States has economic interests around the world that can easily be "destroyed".
Sources: Iran knew which floor Trump lived on
New information is now emerging about the alleged Iranian assassination threat against Donald Trump that caused him to secretly change planes before leaving Turkey in July.
American intelligence agencies had become aware of the threat that same day, two sources told the New York Times. The Iranians reportedly knew exactly where Trump was staying, even on which floor. In addition, a person near the meeting was observed with a portable, shaft-fired rocket-propelled grenade.
According to the Wall Street Journal's source, there was concern that the weapon would be aimed at the plane. The intelligence was reportedly provided by Israel.
The Americans immediately came up with a plan. Immediately after the president waved to the cameras and stepped onto Air Force One, he was smuggled out via a small food truck and taken to another plane.
"It was an extraordinary deception maneuver," the newspaper writes.
Journalists, White House staffers and ministers such as Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent remained on the plane, despite the Secret Service's assessment that there was a real threat to the plane.
Trump on changing planes: “I get quite a few threats”
US President Donald Trump has now confirmed that concerns about an Iranian assassination attempt led him to secretly change planes when he returned home from the NATO summit in Turkey in early July, the Reuters news agency reports.
– That’s up to the Secret Service to decide. I just do what they think. I listen to the Secret Service and the military, Trump says.
According to sources for the Washington Post, the US president was secretly moved between his Air Force One and a smaller military plane using a food delivery vehicle.
– I assume there was a threat out there. I didn’t ask much about it. I get quite a few threats, Trump says.
