Mass evacuation as Typhoon Dolphin hits China
More than 300,000 people have been evacuated in advance and Shanghai's two airports canceled more than 1,300 flights as Typhoon Dolphin swept across China's east coast on Sunday.
The typhoon's winds are up to 42 meters per second.
Heavy rains have increased the risk of flooding and landslides. In Taizhou, about 390,000 people were evacuated, while more than 30,000 were evacuated in Shanghai. Zhejiang also stopped all ferry and cruise services.
Meteorologists are warning of up to 400 millimeters of rain in the coming days.
