Trump has given the order: Renaming Lake Ontario

Lake Ontario on the border between the US and Canada is changing its name, at least in the US. There, the lake will now be called Lake America.
Donald Trump threatened earlier this week with the name change, after Canada responded to his punitive tariffs. On Thursday, he signed a presidential order on the change, which takes effect immediately.
– The people in charge in Canada have treated us very badly. They are nasty people, says Trump in the White House.
Last year, he changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico, which in the US will now officially be called the Gulf of America, and he threatens more name changes.
– Now we have a gulf and a lake. Now we just need an ocean. So we might have to rename the Atlantic Ocean or the Pacific Ocean. Maybe both.
Lake Ontario is one of the five lakes that make up the Great Lakes of North America.
