At least six explosions have been heard near government buildings in Aden, Yemen. The Houthi movement claims responsibility for the attacks.

Aden serves as the base for the internationally recognized government, following the capture of the capital, Sanaa, by the Iranian-backed Houthi movement.

The Islamist, Iranian-backed Houthi movement states that it has attacked a military headquarters in Aden.
