Zelenskyy grateful for resumed intelligence sharing
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked the United States for resuming the sharing of intelligence, including information regarding Russian attacks.
“For a time, [the intelligence] was blocked. And it was the American side that lifted the block,” Zelenskyy says in an interview with the influential American Sunday program *Meet the Press*, aired by the network NBC.
Intelligence derived primarily from the Starlink satellite system—controlled by tech billionaire Elon Musk via SpaceX—and its military counterpart, Starshield, had reportedly been slowed down, with no further explanation provided.
Meanwhile, on the same program, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent accused Zelenskyy of being “reckless” for suggesting that the U.S. government was responsible for slowing down satellite communications from Starlink.
