Muscovites on the attacks: It's the new normal 

In just a few weeks, around ten drone attacks have taken place in Moscow. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has stated that the residents of the Russian capital will have to get used to the fact that the war is creeping closer.  

Now a couple of Moscow residents are speaking to Aftonbladet about how they have experienced recently. 

- This is the new normal now, says 25-year-old "Michail" who works in central Moscow.  

He goes on to say that he and his colleagues try to ignore the escalation with humor - as a way to "escape reality". 

- We just have to wait for the next explosion, says 23-year-old "Anna" to Aftonbladet

Russia: Repelled two attacks at the Krymbron  

Russia says it shot down two Ukrainian robots above the Kerch Bridge, which connects the annexed Crimean island to the Russian mainland. The information comes from the Russian installed governor Sergey Aksyonov who says that the bridge is "undamaged", reports Reuters.  

Earlier, videos and photos circulated on Russian social media purporting to show the bridge filled with smoke. The Russian news agency Interfax earlier reported that the bridge had been closed to traffic. 

The Russian air defense stated earlier in the morning that it had also stopped 20 Ukrainian drones in the vicinity of the Crimean peninsula.

Russia: Ukrainian drones shot down near Crimea 

Russia says it shot down 20 Ukrainian drones near the occupied Crimean peninsula on Saturday, Reuters reports.  

The Russian Ministry of Defense states that there are no casualties or damage to infrastructure. 

Drone attacks against Russian-controlled areas in Ukraine and on the Russian mainland have increased in recent months. That since a drone was destroyed over the Kremlin in early May. 

In July, Ukraine also managed to hit parts of the Kerch Bridge that connects the Crimean Peninsula with Russia.

The attacks have not been confirmed by Ukraine.
