Musk's compensation from Tesla approved - doubled in value

Tesla has applied to register nearly 304 million shares linked to CEO Elon Musk's massive compensation package from 2018, which has now been approved after a lengthy legal process. This is reported by AFP.

Musk has entered into an implementation agreement with the company regarding the package, according to a government document. The compensation is worth more than $ 110 billion based on Monday's share price.

A court in the state of Delaware has previously stopped the package on two occasions on the grounds that Tesla's process for compensating Musk was "deeply flawed".

The 2018 award was originally valued at $ 56 billion, but Tesla's share price has risen since then.
