The grain shipment that sparked an open dispute between Israel and Ukraine will be left at sea. The grain will not be unloaded in Israel, Israeli media reports.

Israeli importer Zenziper is not accepting the shipment, The Times of Israel reports.

According to Ukraine, the cargo contains Ukrainian grain stolen by Russia. In recent days, Ukraine has condemned Israel and accused the country of violating its own laws.

Now, Ukrainian praise is coming instead.

“This shows that Ukraine’s legal and diplomatic measures have been effective,” Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha wrote on X.

“It is also a clear signal to all other ships, captains, operators, insurance companies and governments: Do not buy stolen Ukrainian grain. Do not become a party to this crime.”
