Sweden and France in first meeting on nuclear weapons

Sweden and France have held a first meeting on nuclear deterrence, according to the government.The meeting was held last Thursday in Paris with participants from President Emmanuel Macron's government and the Swedish government.
The cooperation is now gaining momentum, according to a press release.
"The path has been established, and the two countries have reaffirmed their ambitions for a stronger, safer and better defended Europe," a statement said.
