After major attacks – Zelensky asks the US for missiles
It
is “absolutely necessary” that the US assists Ukraine with more
missiles for the Patriot air defense system, writes the country’s
President Volodymyr Zelensky on X.
During the night of Tuesday,
at least 16 people were killed in Russian attacks on Ukraine, reports
the AP. It is in a post about the attacks that Zelensky asks the US to
send more Patriot missiles.
As recently as last week, Zelensky
sent a letter with the same request to both Donald Trump and the US
Congress. So far, however, the Ukrainian prayers have been ignored,
writes The Guardian.
Several dead after Russian attacks during the night
Kyiv,
Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and several other Ukrainian cities were subjected
to Russian attacks during the night of Tuesday, reports TT. According
to the BBC, at least ten people have been killed. Over 50 people were
reportedly injured when ballistic missiles and drones struck.

Mayor Vitaliy Klychko wrote on his Telegram channel overnight that
several people may be trapped under the rubble after a missile hit a
nine-story building.
In recent days, Ukrainian President
Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia is planning a major attack,
reports the Kyiv Independent.
