Donald Trump admits that he raged at Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel’s escalating attacks on Lebanon.
President Trump confirms Axios’s reports that he called Prime Minister Netanyahu “absolutely fucking crazy” and demanded that the attacks on Lebanon stop in a phone call on Monday.
– I got a little irritated by his constant fighting with Lebanon, Trump says in the New York Post podcast Pod Force One.
At the same time, the president maintains that he and Netanyahu – often called Bibi – have a good relationship.
– We’ve worked very well together. I really like Bibi.
Monday's heated conversation came hours after Iran reportedly broke off peace talks with the United States in protest of Israel's war in Lebanon.
"Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this," Trump reportedly said, according to Axios.
