Political situation in Libya
Military fighting in Tripoli - worst so far this year
Violent clashes between a militia group and the military police took place in the Libyan capital Tripoli during the night.
The fighting reportedly began after the leader of the militia group 444 Brigade was arrested by the state's Special Deterrence Force, AP reports.
The violence is described by Reuters as the worst so far this year. It is still unclear about deaths and the number of injured.
The unrest is seen as an escalation in Libya, which has been relatively calm in recent years. However, many remember the civil war and the violence that broke out after the dictator Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown in 2011.

UN: The situation in Sudan is soon out of control
After four months of war in Sudan, millions of people are in urgent need of food and the capital Khartoum is in ruins, writes Reuters. The UN is now warning that the situation in the country is becoming increasingly difficult.
“Time is running out for farmers to plant crops that will feed them and their neighbors. Medical supplies are scarce. The situation is getting out of control," they write in a statement.
At the same time, they condemn the weak response of the outside world, writes AFP.
More than four million have been forced to flee the ongoing fighting between the army and the paramilitary group RSF (Rapid speed force). The UN estimates that more than 4,000 people have been killed in the violence, many of them civilians.

Uppsala University has suffered an IT attack, and the personal data of both employees and students has been leaked, reports SVT Nyheter Uppsala.
- The material was downloaded from an IP address from Russia and shared by a Russian actor, says IT director Lisbet Holmberg Stark.
It is mainly the university's IT department that has had data stolen, she continues. First and last names and usernames have also been spread, and it is unclear how many are affected.
The university has reported the breach to the police, which was discovered on July 14.
