Britain tightens immigration policy
The British government has presented a plan to reduce immigration by 300,000 people per year, British media reports. Among other things, it will be more difficult for foreign students to bring family members with them, says Home Affairs Minister James Cleverly in Parliament.
He says that the British expect immigration to decrease and promises, with the package of measures, the "biggest net reduction in migration" ever, writes The Guardian.
Immigration has increased sharply during the Conservatives' last term in power - even though the party went to the election to reduce it.

Minister in Rwanda for new agreement on asylum seekers
British Home Secretary James Cleverly has traveled to Rwanda to sign a new migration agreement with the African state, Sky News reports.

The plan has subsequently been adjusted.
- Rwanda is a safe country and we work quickly to stop the boats and save lives, says Clev
