Trump's order: End climate work – immediately

US President Donald Trump has ordered the US disaster agency, the Department of Homeland security, to suspend all work related to climate change. Bloomberg reports.

In Trump's memo, which was sent on Friday, the agency is also instructed to stop the use of terminology related to climate change in the agency's programs and documents, "to the extent legally possible".

The news agency writes that the changes involve an adjustment to Trump's decree to revoke former President Joe Biden's climate-related measures.

The agency has not commented on the document.

15 trampled to death at New Delhi train station

15 people were trampled to death and at least ten injured when a severe stampede occurred at the central railway station in the Indian capital New Delhi on Saturday, reports the BBC.

Thousands of people were at the train station for the Hindu festival Kumbh Mela, and two delayed trains made the congestion worse.

– There were far more people than I have ever seen at the station [...] In front of me, six or seven women were taken away on stretchers, says witness Dharmendra Singh.
