Kremlin: Foreign soldiers in Ukraine in peacetime are "legitimate targets"
When Ukraine's allies in the "coalition of the willing" met this week, they confirmed their intention to send soldiers to Ukraine after a peace agreement is signed with Russia. Moscow considers this "unacceptable", the Kremlin said, according to Reuters.
Russia would see the soldiers as a threat and a legitimate military target.
- It would be de facto foreign intervention and an escalation of the threat to Russia's security, says Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Dramatic images from Canada – train caught in forest fire
A freight train in Canada got caught in the middle of a forest fire on Monday, reports the BBC.
Video clips from inside the driver's cab show two people looking out at the devastating blaze outside.
- This is getting a little scary. Now you have to hurry, we are surrounded by fire, says the person filming.
All the staff on board the train survived and were able to get out. The railway company CN Rails states that it has shut down all operations in the area and that employees have been evacuated.
Temperatures in Ottawa and Toronto are expected to reach 38 degrees this week.
