The AI war in "The creator" is "amazing"
The year is 2070 and AI technology has advanced so far that the robots powered by the technology are barely distinguishable from humans. But since the robots caused a nuclear bomb disaster in the middle of Los Angeles, the androids and humans have been at war. That is the plot of the new film "The Creator".
SvD's Julia Finnsiö has seen the science fiction film and calls it refreshing, aesthetically pleasing and entertaining.
"Magnificently and stylishly photographed and with skillful special effects construction, it is a visual triumph," she writes.
Even DN's Sebastian Lindvall gives the film a good rating. He writes that the timing of a film about how AI can trigger nuclear war "couldn't be better".
The BBC's Nicholas Barber gives "The creator" the highest rating and calls it "astonishingly distinct".

The iPhone 12 shutdown in France
French authorities satisfied with iPhone 12 update
The French authorities have announced that Apple's update to fix the alleged radiation problems with the phone model has been approved. Reuters reports.
It was a couple of weeks ago that France temporarily halted all sales of the iPhone 12 in the country, as the phone was considered to emit excessive amounts of radiation. Apple claimed that it was the way the radiation protection agency in France measured it that was the culprit in the drama, and promised to fix the matter with an update.
Now it remains to be seen whether the other countries that have started reviews of the iPhone 12 will also settle for the update.
