The king: "Thankfully no one was killed"
The King and Infrastructure Minister Andreas Carlsson (KD) are currently visiting Stenungsund to show their support for the landslide-affected municipality.
- Thank God no one was killed, says the king and continues:
- It's nasty when it happens, but then society comes and supports.
Andreas Carlsson says that he has secured support from, among others, the military and Norway.
- Fortunately, no one was fatally injured, when you see this interruption behind my back, you can immediately realize that it could have gone in a completely different way, says Carlsson.

Seismologists: Explosions occurred days before the landslide
Two explosions were carried out in the area of E6 in Stenungsund in the days before the big landslide, seismologists told Sveriges Radio. A first blast took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 20, and the second on the following day.
One was noted just west of the landslide area. According to SR, there is an uncertainty of approximately one kilometer.
The CEO of the real estate company that is building a business park nearby has previously said that the company will not explode in the near future.
The landslide occurred on the night of Saturday, September 23. The cause is still unclear.
