Wilders: The voters have had their say - we cannot be ignored
The right-wing populist Geert Wilders and his party PVV appear to be the largest in the Dutch re-election. Shortly after the polling station survey gave him a convincing lead, he gave a speech at the party's vigil, writes Reuters.
- The Dutch voters have had their say, he began by saying.
He then hinted at the type of policy he intends to pursue. Among other things, he wants the country to be "given back to the Dutch people" and says that "the tsunami of immigration must be stopped".
- We must find ways to fulfill the hopes of our voters. We can no longer be ignored.
Wilders did not declare himself victorious. TT writes that his strong election leads to a very unclear situation before the government negotiations.
Several parties are against forming a government with him, but some parties have said they can have the PVV as a support party.

Geert Wilders in a commanding lead in the Dutch election
Right-wing populist Geert Wilder's PVV party leads by far in the Dutch election, according to a polling station survey by the NOS television channel.
According to the survey, the PVV collects a total of 35 mandates in the 150-seat lower house. The alliance between the social democratic PVDA and the environmental party GL gets 26 seats and the newly formed conservative NSC 20 seats. There has been a lot of talk in advance that VVD would have the opportunity to win the election, but the party only collects 23 mandates.
Wilmers is described as anti-immigration and he has promised a referendum on a Dutch exit from the EU.
