Norwegian princess wedding
Märtha Louise has not paid wedding bills

Dissatisfaction is brewing in Geiranger in western Norway after the four-day royal wedding celebrations. Three months after Norway's Princess Märtha Louise married Durek Verrett, several local companies that worked on the wedding have still not received their invoices, Norwegian Se og Hør reports. Several of the invoices, which have a total value of one million Norwegian kroner, have now gone to debt collection.

At the same time, Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett have spent several weeks at a luxury resort in Bodrum in Turkey, where they rented their own villa during October, according to the newspaper.

However, Märtha Louise's manager Carina Scheele Carlsen sees no problem with the payments being delayed.

- As a responsible actor at such a large event, it is our duty to review all invoices in collaboration with our advisors and ensure that they are in accordance with the agreements entered into. In a few cases, it will take some time, she says.

Fifteen Greenlandic women who had IUDs inserted without their consent are compensated with 300,000 Danish kroner each. This is announced by the Greenlandic government according to KNR.

- It is of the utmost importance that we acknowledge and apologize that these unacceptable abuses took place, says Erik Jensen, Greenland's finance minister and party leader of the social democratic party Siumut.

The women who are now receiving compensation had IUDs inserted after Greenland took over healthcare responsibility from Denmark in 1992.

- We may find signs of other types of activities during the investigation, says prosecutor Arturas Urbelis.
