Advisor: Trump wants a comprehensive deal with China
Donald
Trump is looking for a comprehensive trade deal with China in which the
country commits to greatly increasing imports of American goods, in
exchange for him backing down on promised punitive tariffs. The New York
Times reports this, citing a handful of advisers.
The
administration is said to have not yet settled on what it wants China to
buy. At the same time, analysts say that the obstacles to a new trade
agreement are many.
The alleged strategy is also in line with the
one Trump used in the trade war with China during his first term in the
White House.

Doge and Musk's intelligence - the most important things from the interview
US President Donald Trump and his right-hand man Elon Musk were questioned in a joint interview with Fox News profile Sean Hannity. Axios and The Hill have listed the most important points from the interview.
Among other things, the newspapers highlight Musk's incomprehension in the face of Democrats' criticism that he has caused a constitutional crisis and that the unofficial "efficiency authority" is acting illegally.
- If the bureaucracy works against the will of the people and prevents the president from implementing the will of the people, then we live in a bureaucracy and not a democracy.
During the interview, Trump took the opportunity to praise Musk on several occasions, including for his successful tech career and his intelligence, writes The Hill. Trump also claimed that he believes Musk will find a trillion dollars to steal from the federal government.
