The US will negotiate peace with Russia – without Ukraine.
At the same time, Keith Kellogg promises that the US will not force a peace agreement on Ukraine.
He also says that he will meet Volodymyr Zelensky.
On Sunday, the US delegation, including the president’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, traveled to Saudi Arabia to begin peace negotiations with Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has not received an invitation. And the EU countries are not invited either.
Keith Kellogg, Trump's envoy to Ukraine, told reporters in Brussels that the United States will not force a peace agreement on Ukraine, Reuters reports.

It is the Ukrainian president and the Ukrainian people who will make that decision, says Kellogg. The envoy also says that he will meet with Zelensky, but does not specify when.
The statement comes after the United States said that they do not want Europe at the negotiating table with Russia and Ukraine.
Kellogg said at the time:
- To my European friends, get into the debate, do not complain about whether you will be allowed to be there or not, come up with concrete proposals, ideas and invest more in defense.
