Iran Rejects Trump's "Nervous" Ultimatum
Iran's military central command has rejected Trump's threat to destroy the country's energy infrastructure unless Iran makes a deal with the United States or opens the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, AFP reports.
The threat is a "helpless, nervous, unbalanced and stupid act," General Ali Abdollahi Aliabad said in a statement.
- The simple meaning of this message is that the gates of hell will open for you, he said.
Earlier in the day, Trump threatened that "hell will break loose" on Iran if the regime does not meet his demands.
Source: Israel prepares attack on Iranian energy
Israel is preparing an attack on Iran's energy facilities, and is waiting for the green light from the United States, an Israeli military source told Reuters.
The source also said that such an attack is likely to take place within the coming week.
Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump reminded that on March 27 he promised to pause attacks on Iran's energy facilities for ten days - and that there are therefore 48 hours left.
