Donald Trump launches a fierce attack on Iran on Truth Social, suggesting that the US could attack energy facilities and bridges in the country.
"Open the F*cking Strait, you crazy assholes, or you'll live in hell," he writes.
The president suggests that an escalation could occur on Tuesday. He has previously threatened Iran, which has closed the important Strait of Hormuz due to the war.
Earlier on Sunday, Oman announced that it is in talks with Iran about facilitating passage through the important strait.

Top Democrat Chuck Schumer reacts strongly to Donald Trump's post in which he urged Iran's "crazy assholes" to "open the fucking" Strait of Hormuz.
In a post on X, Schumer addresses Americans celebrating Easter and writes that the United States deserves better.
"While you go to church and celebrate with friends and family, the President of the United States is raging like an uncontrolled lunatic on social media."
