Data: Twelve killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon
At least twelve people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon on Wednesday, a Lebanese hospital source told AFP.
According to the source, eight people were killed in Tayr Debba and four in Deir Qanum al-Nahr.
According to Lebanese media, attacks were carried out on more than 30 locations in southern and eastern Lebanon on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Lebanese to join Israel's war against the Iranian-backed Shiite militia Hezbollah.
- Israel is not at war with you. We are at war with Hezbollah, which has taken your country hostage. We want peace with you and with Lebanon, Netanyahu said in a video message, AFP writes.
Erdogan: Israel's attacks must end
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Israel's attacks on Syria and Lebanon must end, Reuters reports.
Speaking in parliament, Erdogan said Israel's "aggressions" were becoming a growing threat not only to Turkey but also to the entire world. He also accused Israel of pushing an initiative that would create instability in the Mediterranean region and warned against joining Israel's "scandal boat".
